I bought the historic 4-bedroom cottage 18 years ago and was told of it's history from it's previous owner- my friend and long term Nagambie resident, Mrs. Elaine Lodding. Elaine said her father bought the house around 70 years ago and she proudly showed me photos of the home and property in it's various stages of renovation.
I first opened Relaxing on Val BnB in October 2018 and commenced modifying the bathroom and home for wheelchair access; to assist relatives with access needs to be able to attend weddings and family events.
Elaine was relieved I restored the home towards it's original state and I was grateful when she gifted me a copy of the original title for the property, which I have on display in the living room at the cottage. I often host Elaine and my 93 year-old neighbour Thelma Bird for cake and coffee at the BnB .
