Reef Encounters Fishing Charters is a multi-award winning fishing charter business that has been operating from the stunning Pondalowie Bay and Marion Bay on the lower Yorke Peninsula, South Australia since Mark Wynbergen started the business in 1998. Reef Encounters is the longest operating full-time fishing charter in the Marion Bay area. Mark has owned and operated the business since its beginning and prides himself on providing a professionally operated experience.
Reef Encounters Fishing Charters has access to some of South Australia's best deep sea fishing hot spots and destinations that include Wedge Island, Althorpe Island, Neptune Islands Investigator Strait and beyond. Mark is a highly experienced skipper and we have a deckhand onboard to assist you during your charter. The daily catch may consist of Snapper, Nannygai, Bluefin Tuna, King George Whiting, Sharks, Morwong, Groper, Samson, Trevally, Harlequin, Kingfish, plus much more.
Marion Bay accommodation is included with each charter, we have two outstanding spacious charter houses that are owned and managed by Reef Encounters. The houses are located close to the jetty, tavern, boat ramp and general store....
