The Central Goldfields Art Gallery is situated in the picturesque old fire station, built in 1861. The gallery’s changing exhibition programme showcases local and regional artists, and includes touring exhibitions.
Central Goldfields Art Gallery has a diverse collection of artworks. These include paintings, works on paper, sculpture and textiles. Works from our collection are regularly on display at the Gallery.
Community engagement is supported with an annual community art and craft exhibition and local schools’ VCE art and design.
Education programmes for school children and Friends of the Gallery events and programmes are run throughout the year.
Admission to the gallery is free and a donation is gratefully accepted.
